Checkout my automatic writing style…

Surrealism is a cultural movement which began in the 1920, some of it work would include visual art and writings.  Accroding to Andre breton there is several techniques and one would be automatic writing, a techinque he used to write one of his books, The Manetic Fields.  According to wikipedia automatic writing is process of where wriring does not come from the conscious mind.  People who use the method claim the hand forms the message.  In some cases people claim it is written by people in a trance state. Other people are aware of their surroundings but not of the actions of their writing hand. Writing with no control or automatic writing sounds pretty fun, the fact that people can write something non stop and it will still make sense, is that how spiderman or other cartoons where created. There is second form of automatic writing, which is spiritual automatic writing where one believes the spirit come and take control of the hand of the medium to write messages, letters, and even enitre books, scary.  Maybe this method is used to write todays scary movie scripts.   Where does the inspiration come from to keep writing automatically.  Does one really never stop.

Burj Khalifa- Tallest Building in the World and Dubai it self is so surreal…

In the midst of the arab nations, a region where war has been waged for many years, a region where war has destroyed most of the countires such as Iraq and Afghanistan, leaving the region to be classified as a third world region, lies a city within a country who does contain the wealth to build the largets and most impressive building in the world.   The building is called Burj Khalifa, and is located within Dubai of United Arab Emirates.  This is classical irony because the country is one of the smallest countries in the world.  According to (http://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/populations/ctyareas.htm) its the 80st smallest country out of the 192 countries that is recorded in the world.  This small country in the world is a major player in the worlds import and export business, proffiting more than fifty billion in the year of 2007, their major money producer is oil.  This is so surreal one of the smallest countries in its area and the world still makes more than its neighberouing countries, and the fact that the country is in the midst of a war struck region, makes these facts even more surreal.  What tops this all of is that this small arab country build the largest building in the world and contains the  best looking downtown core.  This Surreal building is two and half times more larger then the Canadian CN tower, and was the largest building in the world even before construction was done.  I want to stand on top of the building to see how everything would look from up there.  I bet everything in my view would be minuscule even more concise then a pragraph. The building stands at 800+ meters, at first it does not sound like alot but if  compared to the averge person who comes out to 1.5 meters, one can see the magnitude of the building, you would need about sevenhundred and fifty human beings to be as tall as the Dubai building.   With an aboservation deck on level 124 anyone can enjoy the view, the day time and the night time view.  How the time of day switches the feeling of the view of the city is so surreal how can the day time view of the citys core accompany a certain feeling which is usually calm and relaxing and the night time view bring upon feelings which are ussualy filled with excitement.

Overall the whole enitity of the building seems surreal, the building broke multiple records, a total of seven records.  The broken records would be tallest building in the world, tallest free-standing structure in the world, Highest number of stories in the world, highest occupied floor in the world, Highest outdoor observation deck in the world, elevator with the longest travel distance in the world, and the tallest service elevator in the world.  Not only has the building broken records but has put put everything in this one building which is also surreal.  The building includes an observation deck on level 124, fine dining restaurant on level 122, 900 residences, thirty-seven office floors, hundred and sixty guestrooms and suites, hundred and fortyfour private residences, a Park which consits of eleven hectares park, six water features, 3000 underground parking spaces, and 4-storey fitness and recreation annex. The builders have placed a whole downtown core within the building.

Andre Baton: real or imaginary…

According to Andre Breton “surrealists strive to attain a “mental vantage-point (point de l’esprit) from which life and death, the real and the imaginary, past and future, communicable and incommunicable, high and low, will no longer be perceived as contradictions.”  Reading this left me shocked, and left me with an hunger to obtain these visual images for myself to judge.

(Not Andre Baton’s work, just a surrealism picture)

When looking at the above picture the quotation comes to life.   The real and the imageniry contradict each other, which is a theme thats realy a life in this picture.   Andre Baton one of the original artists, living from 1896-1966,  I continued to read his biography only to find out that this man took pshycology courses and applied that pattern of thinking to surreleasim, and even at one point proclaiming the artistic paintings of the demented to be art, leaving me to think maybe this man, himself can not see the fine line between real or imaginary.   One thing that stood out when reading his biography was the fact that this man published books, plenty of books, it seems Mr. Baton published a book every three or four years.   Remarkable, to see that this man can produce like this, as if he has no limit to his imagination, is that one of the elements of being a surrealism artists, unlimited imagination.

My teacher is a poet……. (poet investigation)

Who ever taught in todays times we would still have individuals who besides having a nine to five, have a passion where they excel in…   Lillian Allen writer of Psychic Unrest and multiple titles, was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica on April fifth of 1951.   Lillian Allen is a skilled writer who indulges in poetry, and whom released her first title in 1983, named Dub Poet: The Poetry of Lillian Allen….  The poet first left Jamaica in the 1960′s to establish a new home in New York City, only to move towards Canada where she finished up her post secondary education at York University……  And now teaches creative writing at the Ontario college of Arts and Design….  Since her first release in 1983 she accomplished to win two Juno awards in the span of five years.  One in 1986 for the  Album for Revolutionary Tea Party, the second Juno award in 1988 for the title Conditions Critical…..  It’s good to know that a person and it doesn’t have to be  a person with great prestige and one that comes from a family with pedigree can have all these achievements…..   Its sort of like motivation for one to achieve more with their lives, and use this woman who is a simple teacher born in a third world country as a role model……

I wanna do better in school….. (Investigation)

doing better in school, something most perfectionist or individuals whom just want to do good in school think about it.   Something i personally know about doing good in school, is to show up to each and every class and to hand in all assignments required to be done by the teacher…..  My aunts favorite lines about doing good in school is to pick your circle of friends really good “You never want to be the smartest person in your group”  makes sense if you think about the fact that friends rub of on each other, so what kind of residue are you going to have on your shirt, if surrounded by negative people…..  A phrase that stuck with me, and was told to me by a close friend is to put your self first…. Eventough this sounds easier than loafting in a lazy boy chair, its actually one of the hardest things to do…..    Believe or not, i have found that people like to please other people and because of that put their friends or whomever that person of interest might be first…….  But honestly if you put your self first and did what was best for you, you would be much more ahead, passing your classes with much higher marks, because you would have rearranged your priorities….  but lets see what the experts have to say….. According to (http://teenadvice.about.com/od/currenteventsissues/a/betterlearning.htm)  an article named Do Better In School  that left me shocked and amazed on how three little techniques can help you do better in school, I taught about why i never taught about these things my self and why i never researched this before.  The first technique is to ask well tought of questions in class that will require the teacher to think, and this will improve how much information you will retain in class…….  The second technique would be for one to answer questions in class, right or wrong you will find out the right answer, and retain it…… The third which is the most effective is to read the notes you have token down in class before you go to sleep.  Hopefully this article has a lot of views so that these simple techniques can be spread amongst us students…….    One thing i would like to add is physical activity and good amounts of sleep are a big positive part of doing better in school……..  I hope this article on my blog will inspire the working class of tomorrow to better in school………

Sound investigation: Relaxing Baby Music

I’ve heard of the saying that the surrounding of a pregnant wome affects the fetus.  Therefore a positive environment should bring forth positive results and that a negative environment should bring forth negative results.   This video left me perplexed to see that music affects the fetus, but by how much, does it rais the IQ of the child, or does it make the child more complex and sophisticated.  It must be, if placing children in music class, enhances their educational abilities then playing mozart must have a positive effect.  The music does sooth ones soul and mind.  Is that why it’s good for the baby, since it relaxes the mind of the mother who is pregnant at the time, and since the mom and the baby are connected, it directly influences the child trough the umbilical cord.  Honestly i listen to instrumentals, and this is one is a nice one.

This relaxing baby music is actually called The Mozart Effect,  and research has been done to see if the proclaimed effects are true.  According to the article that can be found on http://www.parenting-baby.com/Parenting-Baby-Music-Research/index1.html classical music is good for the developing brain.   It improves cognitive learning, increases imagination and so much more.  Besides that, I to notice a bigg diference in my mind’s state when listening to different genre of music.  On a greater scale it seems music affects your mind period.  This brings an idea, if i wanna compose an angry environment amongst my listeners, i will play lots of scary, loud sounds, similar to rock.  If i wanna compose a smooth musical piece i should put together smooth sounds.
